Autumn - Celtic Harp Music and Images
As my mind turns to thoughts of autumn, I have watched the local farmers here in the Dene, bringing in the harvest, working hard to beat the rain and bring the hay crops in dry, for winter feed.
The other morning, I heard the seagulls squabbling over the pickings in the hayfield. As I walked the moorland road, I closed my eyes for a moment. The sound of the seabirds crying took me back to Iona - sacred Scottish isle of the Celts. In my mind’s eye, I saw the sun-bleached road of the island stretching before me, with the seagulls flying on the wind and the wild geese calling. I smelled the scent of honey and warm hay that seemed to emanate from the land, as I walked the island meadows on the blessed warm sunny days. My new slideshow includes images of Iona, taken on my recent visit and previous trips there. You will see a quiet image of The Hill of the Angels, with three fat lambs grazing. I made a new vibrational Celtic Harp Essence there, along with other new essences which I made on the island this summer. The music for the slideshow is taken from my album ‘Iona Essence’.
