Autumn Equinox Day at Dent 2013
The Equinoxes are times of balance in the year, when daylight and hours of darkness are momentarily of equal length. In Celtic spirituality, each of them have their own special focus in terms of spiritual growth and understanding.
At the Spring Equinox, this is the time when we look within to see where our true path lies – in spiritual terms and in our daily lives.
This is the moment when we focus on the inner truth of our hearts, and dedicate ourselves to realising that truth in the outer aspects of our world.
Julie Darling will take us into the still space and silence within, with the music of the Celtic harp. Through music, the spoken word and meditation, we will have the opportunity to find peace in our hearts and the wisdom that comes from listening to the silence within. Gentle movements with Qigong, will harmonise the energy flow of our bodies and bring us into balance.
Newcomers are very welcome. This event can also be seen as part of a programme designed for those who wish to follow the cycle of the seasons through events with Julie Darling and the Celtic harp, throughout the year.
Please Note: Booking is essential for this day as numbers will be limited. The previous event for the Autumn Equinox was very well attended so do check your diary soon and book your place if you would like to attend. Cost £35, includes light refreshments.
